1. Söder heads to Falun, returns triumphant

This saturday Söder kick-started the second half of the season with a big win after long summer break. The opponents were newcomers Falun Diggers who have been struggling so far this year.

Söder came up to picturesque Dalarna with nine players. When the first ball went up, however, eight players were on field after Joel “Iron Guts” Burnell had become umpire. Söder started strong and rapidly took command of the game.

Goal kicking was much improved since last game, partly thanks to the extra space between the goal posts. Söder recruit Natis Johansson showed great skills in the back line keeping Falun scoreless in the first quarter.

Despite the warm weather and outnumbering Söder stayed ahead in the second and third quarter displaying some good footy, moving the ball across the field through hand passes and kicks with good accuracy.

When the last whistle sounded, Söder was comfortably ahead with close to 200 points. A strong statement before the upcoming playoffs.
