1. Home or away? Same same in south Stockholm derby

    1-2-3 BAM!

Last weekend, Södermalm defeated Årsta in the second derby of the season. Viewers agreed Åsta still lack the stability and routin to beat well organized Södermalm, despite strong individual performances and a set of young enthusiastic Swedes in the team. Captain Max and Jordo Jr delivered 7 of Söders 12 goals, but it was the return of Marcus Rappacio, Söder veteran, to the goalsheet that got the crowd going mad!

The final score was 93 – 55 to Södermalm and good footy was reassuring, but the news shortly after that Jordo Jr – this years favourite for the SAFF best and fairest – was going back to Oz after being misinformed that winter starts in September already sent chockwaves through the organization. Petter promised to update the club webpage with a climate section straight away, just using his iPhone, and from the President’s office inquireies are being made to order beaneis with the club logo, just to be safe.

Bromma – Söder match report soon to follow
